Redesigned Website

I first met with Bill Birndorf and his team in January 2018. They had a WordPress blog for three years that was maintained by his staff. Higher Hopes! is a charity that fund raises for the Detroit Area Head Start Program. They provide meals to those qualified low income families in that program. They started out fundraising for families in the city of Detroit during the Thanksgiving holiday to provide full meals for turkey dinner. His goal was to have a more streamlined site, have the ability to accept credit card donations and to have a clean mobile format.

After several meetings I presented a first design. Once they saw the site they had more ideas and wanted more functionality. This was my first charity and a really great learning experience. In the end, the site has performed really well and I am revisiting Bill and his team soon to do some updates.
